Lewis G. Stallings


Lewis was my boss at Project Reality. He died a year ago today. I had so many things going on at this time last year that I failed to do a post about him. I just wanted to say that we miss him and think about him all the time. -He was a great guy with a BIG heart.

1950 ~ 2009

Lewis G, Stallings had many names Daddy, Son, Husband, Brother, Grandpa and his favorite…. "P"

On June 7th 2009 Lewis G Stallings went down fighting from complications from primary pulmonary hypertension. Lewis was born on August 22nd 1950 to Golden and LuDeen Stallings.

In 1969 he married Judy Nielson and later divorced. Lewis served in the United States Marine Corps in 1970. On April 20th 1972 Lewis married Paula Ann Prince. Together they started Payson Tire where he worked for many years. Lewis then went on to earn his R.N. degree and retired from the V.A. Hospital in Salt Lake. He was currently working for Project Reality in Provo.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Glen and Tim Stallings. Lewis is survived by his loving wife Paula Stallings daughters Carol and Mandy. Sons Shane and Jason. Grandchildren Chandler, Anthony and Samantha. Shayna, Austin, Kaitie, Savannah, Ben (Monkey) Bridger, and Shay. Tryston and Taylor Erickson. Parents Golden and LuDeen Stallings. Brothers Larry, Boyd and Eddie. Sisters Suzzanne, Julie and Nancy.

Lewis spent his free time riding four wheelers and saving the world from Jardinains. But his favorite past time was getting into mischief with his very own "Team 6". Lewis was a devoted husband, Daddy and Grandpa. He is very proud of the family that he created. **** We will miss you ****

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 11a.m. at the Mtn. View Church, 681 East 500 North. Friends and family may call Thursday June 11th, 6-8:00 p.m., at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West Payson, Utah or at the church Friday 9:45-10:45 a.m. Military rites will be held at the Payson City Cemetery.
