Las Vegas Trip Day 1

Today was a crazy day, but a good one.  We arrived in Las Vegas around 3:30pm. -Not bad considering that I worked a grave last night, Abby had to give her presentation at school, we had to pack and we had to turn in my time sheet before we were able to get on the road.
We are staying at Circus Circus!  The pool was closed today due to wind.  Hopefully it will reopen tomorrow or Sunday.
We decided to go to the aquarium at the Silverton.  The Silverton is connected to a Bass Pro Shop.  Both places were awesome.

The aquarium had a real mermaid swimming inside!

Abby's North Carolina Presentation

Abby gave a great presentation on the state of North Carolina today.  She prepared a slide show and a tri fold poster. One of the facts Abby shared with her class was that Krispy Kreme D:)oughnuts originated in North Carolina.   Abby decided to give all of the students in her class a doughnut.  :)

Andrew Got His Braces Off!

It's been a long time since Andrew was able to bite into one of these...
But yesterday he did.  That's right.  Andrew got his braces off!
With braces

Without braces

Pretty stoked about having smooth teeth.  Now he's looking toward his birthday, getting his Eagle, and getting his driver's license.

Last night, Aaron, the kids, and the missionaries had "Exotic Fruit Night."
They found all of these fancy fruits at Harmons.  Good times☺

Family Fun

The weekend was so nice.  Aaron's sister Karie and his other sister Suzy (and her family) were in town.  We got to eat out a couple times with all the siblings, Aaron and Andrew went skiing, we helped Matt and Ruthann move some furniture into their house, etc.  It was nice spending time with everyone.

Maturation Talk

Today was "Maturation Day" @ Shelley Elementary.  All of the 5th grade girls were so nervous, ( I don't think it was any different then when I was in 5th grade.)
Annette Pulley did the presentation for us.  She was awesome.  She made everyone comfortable and at ease.
After maturation day I checked Abby out.  I would say about 75% of the girls left afterwards.  Abby  was hungry so got us some Costco  dogs.
