Happy Sunday

Girl's Trip Day 3

We woke up and all the girls surprised me with this t-shirt.  -Ha ha.  I ❤ it.  40 and Fabulous!
Leslie's sister Jodi made all of us pancakes with blueberries.   It was so yummy.
We went to the Los Angeles Temple and did an endowment session.
We ate lunch @ Shake Shack

We went back to the house, packed our bags, said our goodbyes to Jodi, Aaron, and Zoey, then headed to the airport.

I got to wear my shirt!

We bought a few souvenirs @ the airport.

The clouds looked like the ocean.

Hooray for SLC!

When I arrived home, Aaron and the kids surprised me!

I missed my babies!

Aaron gave me a new ring.  I love it!

Best husband ever!!!

Margaret Clark Price

My brother-in-law's mother passed away last Saturday.  She was a sweet lady.   Always kind to my children.  Especially Andrew.  Her funeral was today.  I was out of town, but here is her program.

Girl's Trip Day 2

Today we made it to Hermosa beach.  It was a little cool.  Because of that, we had the beach pretty much to ourselves!  Holly and I swam in the ocean for probably close to an hour.

We walked out onto the pier.  We saw a seal, a dolphin and a jellyfish!  So cool.

This bird creeped us out a little bit.

Look at those red eyes!

We walked up a few streets and picked up some pizza @ Ita Italian Street Food.  It was delicious.

The seagulls hovered around us.

Leslie shared her pizza with them.

We stopped @ Costco, then went back to Leslie's sister's house.  It was Leslie's brother-in-law's birthday.  We offered to watch their daughter so they could celebrate.  We played hide and seek, watched cartoons, and just enjoyed each other's company.

Cute little Zoey!

Poor Bryson

Bryson broke his arm Monday afternoon.  I took him and his friend Kyuss to the playground @ Shelley Elementary.  We'd only been there for about 15 minutes when Kyuss alerted me that Bryson had fallen from the monkey bars.  I ran to Bryson.   As soon as I saw his arm, I knew it was broken.
I took him to urgent care.  Because the bones needed to be set, they sent me to the ER.
I went to Timpanogus Hospital.  I was impressed with the service. They took Bryson back immediately.

They checked his vitals and started an IV.

They gave him 3 different medications.   Zophran,  morphine, and I forget the 3rd one.

Dr. Randle Likes placed a splint over his arm and then he set the bones in place.  Although Bryson was medicated, it was still very painful.  I wish I could've taken his place.

Kudos to Kyuss for trying to comfort Bryson and being a good friend.

Here is the xray

Aaron took Bryson to an orthopedic surgeon yesterday.  More xrays were done.  Thankfully, the bones were still in place.  Bryson was able to have it casted!  He chose red and green!

Bryson went back to school today.  All of his class signed his cast.
