Some Ghoulish Works of Art

Some ghoulish works of art by Abby and Bree

This Month Is Such A Special One...

Tonight after dinner, we celebrated Brody and Abby's birthdays.  Both of them got some awesome gifts.  Thanks everyone.  -Love you guys.  :)

Grandma Nelson's Halloween Party

If I may say...
Grandma Nelson (My mother) is quite an amazing party giver!  Last Saturday she gave all of the grand kids a Halloween party.
They had a costume parade.

She played a lot of fun games.
Catch the ghost
Keep away from the eyeballs
A bean bag toss.

Pin the tail on the cat
Bingo

A cake walk

A balloon walk and a fish pond
Decorating cookies

My kids had such a great time.  Thank you Grandma.  We think you're amazing!

Annual Heritage Halloween Party

Thursday night we went to Heritage Care Center's Annual Halloween Party.  This is the second year that our ward has volunteered their time/treats for the event.
My little Brody was a chicken.  -This is my favorite costume this year.

Abby was a cowgirl.
Bree was a magical princess
Alyssa was also a magical princess.
Andrew was a member of the Blue Man Group.
Ha ha.  Love the wig.
We had such a good time!

Birthday Boy

My little Brody is now 9 years old!  -Can't hardly believe it.

I took him shopping Tuesday night.  We met up with Grandma and Grandpa Nelson at Target.  They let him pick out a toy.
On Wednesday we sent some frosted sugar cookies with Brody to share with his class at school (Sugar cookies are one of Brody's favorite treats).  Later in the evening after Aaron got home from work, we booked it over to Chuck E Cheese in Sandy.  When we arrived, there was almost no one there.  We pretty much had the whole building to ourselves.  -It was great!

Grandma and Grandpa Walker spent the evening with us!  :)

Brody's favorite game was bowling.

No no  no.  Alyssa doesn't cheat
Nope not at all!  ;)

Andrew and I had a friendly competition playing street hoops.  I beat him 2 out of 3 times.  Boo yah!

This year I made Brody an icecream cake roll.  -Not the prettiest cake, but it was yummy.

Happy Birthday Brody.  Love you Bud.
