Bree's 3rd Track Meet/AF VS Vista Heights

Bree had her 3rd track meet today.  She ran the 1600 and the 800!  Way to go Breezy. 

 

The Redsox It Is!

 Bryson was placed with the Redsox.  His coach is Jesse Shelley.  They had their first practice tonight and guess what?  Bryson hit a home run!  It's going to be a fun season.  

2021 Nelson Easter 🐣 Egg Hunt

 Today was a special day for sure.  Grandma and Grandpa Nelson had a party at their house.  We had a yummy dinner followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.  My kids might be getting bigger, but they still love gathering eggs.  Especially the metallic ones with $ in them.  😊  

Thanks mom and dad!  We missed Ash/Dave and Allison/Mike.

Spoiled Over The Weekend

What a fun weekend it has been!  Aaron's sister Teresa drove down from Idaho.  Aaron, Kent,  and I met up with her, LouAnn, Ruthann, and Deanna at Cafe Rio.  (Aaron's sister Kenna fractured her shoulder Friday night).  🤕

Later in the evening, Aaron and I met up with some friends from our ward. We ate dinner @ Silver Dish Thai Cuisine

Then we walked across the street to Dry Bar.  We watched 3 men talk mostly about relationships, and it was hilarious. 

After the show, I met up with Aaron's sisters in Murray @ the Residence Inn Marriott.  Kenna was there for games, but she was in too much pain to stay the night.  She's a trooper.

We woke up and listened to sacrament meeting.  Then we went and got some breakfast @ Mimi's Cafe.

I wish I would've gotten pictures of everyone.  🤦‍♀️. I love spending time with them.

Happy Birthday Suri!

 Bree's friend Suri is 14 years old today!  🎂  To celebrate, a bunch of the girls went to an escape room.  Bree had a wonderful time.  Happy Birthday!

First Timers

Kent, Brody, and I drove to Orem to pick up some O2 supplies from Rotech.  Afterwards,  we realized we were hungry.  We discussed our options.  Kent let me know that he'd never eaten at Red Lobster.  Then Brody stated he'd never eaten there either.  Say what?!? 🤯

I decided today was their day.

We got mozzarella sticks, coconut shrimp, fries, a baked potato, green beans, garlic shrimp pasta, and of course cheddar bay biscuits.   😋  Everything was delicious.   

 

Alyssa Is Getting Braces!

Alyssa and I met with Dr Fairbanks today.  Alyssa will be getting her braces on April 21st!  She's super excited.  I'm excited for her too.  

 

Bryson's Baseball Tryouts

Bryson had baseball tryouts today.  We met at Art Dye Park just before 5 pm and didn't leave til 6:45 pm.  It was freezing!  🥶  Bryson was a trooper!  

We'll find out his team next week.

 

Battle of the Books Part 2

The boys did an amazing job yesterday!! They won the semi finals then went on to win the Championship for 3rd grade! 🎉 Then they faced the 1st place 4th grade team. This is usually a big deal held in the gym with the whole school attending the battle at an assembly. But rotten COVID made it so they just held it in the library with the 2 teams, the principal, librarian, & a few moms helping. I think it was lower stress this way though. The boys said it made them nervous knowing the classes were watching virtually over a zoom call. 😉Anyway they did a phenomenal job!! Only missing 1 question all day was fantastic. And we cheered & told them to hold their heads high 2nd place is amazing👏🏻🏆 They were all so cute with their trophies. 😍
 

Flowers From Leslie

Leslie Gile's mom's funeral was Saturday.  😪  Leslie brought me these flowers.  They're so pretty.  I wish there was something I could do to bring her comfort.  She and her family have been through so much.
