My ❤ Hurts For His Family

Kobe Bryant, his daughter,  and 7 other people died in a helicopter crash this morning.  I am still in shock.  It just goes to show how fragile life is.  Death can knock on anyone's door.  Prayers for his wife and children.  😔

MLK Day

No school today!  I took those who wanted to go swimming to the rec center.  

The Dance Conservatory Presents The Wizard of Oz

I am so proud of my little Lyssa.  Today was a long day for her.  She had a basketball game @ 8:30 this morning.  During her game, she tripped and bruised her hip.  I was worried she might not be able to dance, but she did great.

Just The 3 Of Us

Aaron, Brody, and I went night skiing for a few hours @ Brighton.  It was really crowded, but the snow was perfect.  My legs feel like jello.   I am ready to go soak in a hot bath!

Man With The Pointed Toes

Tonight was so great!  Aaron and I went out with our friends the Knechts, the Richins, and the Mcwhorters.  They're all so much fun to be around.  

We ate dinner @ Chubby's in Pleasant Grove.   Then we went to Hale Theater in Orem.  We saw their production of The Man With The Pointed Toes.  It was such a cute little love story.

These two were amazing.  If you want a fun date night, I highly recommend it.  😊

Alyssa's Dress Rehearsal

Alyssa had a dress rehearsal today for her performance of The Wizard Of Oz.  She has 3 different dance routines.  One from each of her classes, (modern, jazz, and ballet).  She has two performances on Saturday.   The first one is @ 1:00 pm and the second is @ 4.  I am excited.  #proudmom😊

Congrats Colby and Corinna!

Colby and Corinna announced today that they are pregnant!  I'm so excited for all these babies.  Just wish they lived closer so I could be a babysitter.

Group FHE - Lehi's Dream

We had Group FHE tonight.  Aaron and I were in charge of the lesson.  In the Co.e Follow Me manual we're studying 1 Nephi chapters 8-10.  We shared the new Book of Mormon video.  

 

Then we discussed all the symbolism.  

Finally, we invited everyone to "partake of the fruit."  

(I brought a fruit tray with some dip)

Saturday Ball

 Abby and Alyssa both had basketball games 

 today.  They both did a great job.  I don't remember scores; however, I think Abby's team won their game and Alyssa's team tied.

Church Basketball Has Begun!

Church basketball has begun!  I love watching my man play ball.  Definitely one of the highlights in the winter.   Andrew's absence was felt, but I know he's where he's supposed to be.

Ready...Set... Goal!

We had our relief society activity tonight.  I don't know why, but it was really stressful for me.  

Taylor Reeves did an amazing job sharing with us how "less is more."  She gave us a lot of ideas on how we can declutter our homes.  

Jackie Nelson, Britanna Russon, Joan Golding,  and I each took 5-10 minutes to talk about intellectual,  spiritual,  physical,  and social goals.

Pink Pink You Stink!

It's been a rough week for Kent.  Ruthann and LouAnn have been cleaning out his bedroom and painting.  Yep you heard me right.  The pink paint is no more.  It's been replaced with a light gray and it l👀ks amazing!
