Women's Conference September 2015

Yesterday, the ladies and I got together for Women's Conference.  We met at Deanna's house and had a yummy dinner (Potato bar).  Then we listened to some inspired messages.  I especially enjoyed Elder Uchtdorf's story about Ava and her Aunt Rose.
Love these ladies!

Bree's Field Trip To Rowley's Red Barn

I went on a field trip with my daughter Bree earlier today.  We went to the Rowley Farm in Santaquin.  We had such a wonderful time.  We got to go on a hay ride, learned about plants, picked apples (red delicious and Fuji), ate lunch, went through a maze, rode tractor go-carts, slid down a huge slide, climbed a hay pyramid, etc.  Just as we were about to leave, we got some yummy apple doughnuts.  I love going on field trips with my kids.

Piper Brown

My niece had her baby today.  Everyone meet Piper Brown.  She's a little one.  5 lbs 14 ounces.  18.5" long.  Both mom and baby are doing well.  ðŸ˜Š

Emily Is Back!!

My niece returned home from her mission earlier today.  Bryson and I checked out the girls from school, and we all went to the airport to greet her as she got off the plane.  Emily looks so good!  What a great example she is to my kids.

Which Hat Should He Wear?

More Flooding

We've had some flooding in our basement.  It's crappy because Aaron and I just refinished all the walls in January.  We're almost done with the playhouse too...
It looks like Farmers Insurance is going to help repair the floor and the wall though.

All of our furniture is in a pod.

PTC With Ms. Sage

I met with Brody's teacher earlier today for PTC.  I received a good report.  Brody has done really well, especially since he is in a new class, has a new teacher, and is with new students.  I am proud of my little guy.  Love you Brody.

Bryson's First Day Of Preschool

Bryson had his first day of preschool yesterday!  He's attending Wooden Cottage Preschool.  His teachers are Mrs. GeAnna and Mrs.  Tatianna.  Bryson was super nervous to go.  And to be honest so was I.   His teachers told me that he did great.  What a relief!
Here are some pictures I took of him.

Car Troubles

We've had some car troubles this week.  We had a slow leak in the front passenger side tire of our gray suburban.  On Tuesday Aaron took it to Les Schwab.  We paid a little over $300 for two new tires and an alignment.  Everything was great I thought, but Wednesday the battery light kept coming on.  I stopped at Walmart and had them check it.  They told me the battery was good, but the charge was low.  I was given a list of things that could be wrong.  I almost took it to Tunex, but I decided not to since school was almost out.  I wanted to get home to my kids.  A little later I took my daughter to her cousin's house in Highland.  On the way, I lost all electrical (the radio, the odometer, the fuel light, etc.). My car started jerking as well.  I pulled into their driveway and the car died.  After several unsuccessful attempts to jump it, we called Triple AAA.  They towed our car to Tunex.  It turns out we needed a new alternator.  It cost a little over $300 as well.  It's true that when it rains it pours.  Hopefully we won't have any more car problems.

Labor Day Weekend in Logan

We had a wonderful weekend.  Aaron booked us a room at the Marriott in Logan, Utah.  Everything was perfect.  Everyone had a bed, there was a pool, continental breakfast was provided, we had cable (So Aaron could watch the BYU game), etc.  Couldn't ask for more!
Our hotel
The first night, we visited the temple.  So pretty!

We got pizza hut for dinner.  Then everyone swam in the pool.
Saturday morning we went to Willow Park Zoo.

 Pheasants
 An albino porcupine
 Raccoon
 Gecko?  (I think)
 A barn owl (Bree's favorite)

 A red fox
 Kevin (from the movie Up)

 Goodbye Willow Park Zoo!
We went for a nice ride.  We drove over to Smithfield and Richmond.
The Brigham Young Cougars defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 33-28!
We bought some KFC and had dinner at a park

We stopped at Walmart.  Poor little Bryson had a fever, so we bought him some tylenol.  The kids wanted to go for a late night swim.

We drove home though Ogden canyon.  I really love the city Paradise.  In fact, I vow to live there some day.  It's so beautiful and peaceful.
