Kazzy Is 10!

Sweet little Kazzy is 10 years old!  She had a birthday party yesterday evening, then she and Alyssa had a sleepover.  Tonight, the Curtins came over to our house.  We had another little party.  Ruthann brought a yummy cheesecake with strawberries.
Happy Birthday Kaz!

Bless Our Mess

Our house hasn't been feeling well...

First, the heating element went out in our oven.  At least that's what we think it was.  We ordered a new part.  It was supposed to arrive within 7-10 days.   When it didn't come I called Maytag.  They apologized and told me the part was on back order.  No worries though, it should arrive by May 7th.  🤪 (3 months away)
May 7th definitely wouldn't work, so Aaron and I ordered a new oven from Home Depot.  It arrived last Friday.  Aaron was out of town on a snowmobiling trip when it was delivered.   I installed it all by my lonesome.

As wonderful as it was to get our new oven, I found these little pieces of plastic shortly after.  I wasn't sure what it was until I found a little battery.  Apparently Winnie found Kent's R. hearing aide and thought it tasted good.  Bad 🐕!

Luckily they were still under warranty @ Costco.  I ordered him a new one.  We'll be able to pick it up next week.
On Feb 17th, our heater stopped working.  We had Triple-T come out the next day.  They ended up replacing the motor.  An expensive one I might add, ($600).  It was nice to have a warm house again.
Last, but not least.  On Sunday February 21st, Aaron accidently drilled into an electric line and a hot water pipe.  😬  He was installing some new lights in our basement.  It was crappy because it was the last one, (he'd already installed 3 of them).  We saw sparks and the electricity went out.  Then all of the sudden water began streaming from the ceiling.   Aaron was able to replace the wire and stop the leak.  Now we have a big hole in the ceiling  and no light.  -We'll worry about it later.

Byson's Basketball Team

Bryson and his team had another great game today.  I and the other mom's realized that the boys only have one game left.  We decided to take some team pictures in case someone has to miss.

Dylan, Noah, Bryson, Max, Rocky, Bridger, Levi, and Coach Frank Pulley

We saw a small herd of deer after Bryson's game.  Check out the buck below!
