Last Day of May

Last day of May!  This year is flying by.  We had a wonderful sacrament meeting  today @ home.  Aaron taught us about the last chapters of Mosiah and the first chapter of Alma.  Following sacrament, we went up to the canyon.  The fee station was removed?  Not sure if they're rebuilding it or putting it somewhere else.   ðŸ¤”
We ate lunch with Aaron's sisters and their families.  We also played some games.  Here are some pictures I took on my phone.

Happy Birthday Ashlie!

Our sweet friend Ashlie is the big 4-0 today!  We took her to breakfast @ Jim's this morning to celebrate.  She has a busy day ahead of her.  Glad we could steal her for a little bit.

Last Day Of School Splash Party

Bryson's friend Luke had a little splash party today to celebrate the last day of school.   They threw waterballoons, squirted each other with the hose, and played in the sprinklers.  Bryson had such a great time!

Memorial Day Weekend 2020

It's been an amazing day!  We went to American Fork City Cemetery and then on to Alpine Cemetery.  Aaron started looking up ancestors on Family Tree, and we felt compelled to go to Ogden. Kent had us drive through Washington Terrace.   He showed us the area where he use to live, a golf course where he and Kay caught frogs, the theater where he and Kay let those frogs free, 25th street, (the most dangerous street in Ogden), etc.  Once we made it to the cemetery, We found several relatives on Aaron's mom's side of the family.

Baseball Season Has Begun!

Although our rec enter is still closed due to Covid-19,  Bryson's coach set up some practices.  We're hoping the rec center  will open up this coming week and we'll get some games scheduled. 🤞

Preach My Gospel, Lesson 2: The Plan Of Salvation

FHE tonight with friends from our ward.  I put Andrew in charge.  He led a great discussion on the Plan of Salvation.  He gave us an object lesson.  Everyone that was present was asked  if they wanted a gumball.  Regardless what they wanted, Andrew told Kale to do 5-10 Push-ups.  Andrew represented God.  Kale represented Christ.  The push-ups represented the suffering that Christ went through for each of us. The gumballs represented opportunities to repent and to do good.   Because of Christ, everyone will be resurrected.  The kingdom that we go to after we're resurrected  will depend on the good deeds, (or lack thereof) that we do in this life.
