A Little Break

This week has been a little rough for my father in law.  We took LouJean to a rehab center on Monday.  Kent has had a lot on his plate the past few months.  LouJean has steadily become more forgetful (Even to the point where sometimes she doesn't recognize Kent).  She has also become more unsteady on her feet, but cannot remember to use her walker.  Our family fealt that Kent needed time for himself, so   we sought for some respite care.  LouJean will becoming home Saturday morning.
I hope the time that Kent has had will be the boost that he needed.
I went to visit her Monday (The first day).  She was really pleasant when I saw her.

Dana (her nurse) told me she was anxious because she didnt have a reclining chair.  I stopped at the DI and found this gem.

A Little Change

A little change began a week ago in our laundry room and kitchen.  If you can't tell from the pics...our honey oak cabinets are being painted white!  Brother Veteto from our ward is helping us with the transformation.  I love the changes so far.  Makes everything more bright and cheerful!

A Winter Wonderland

President Inauguration

Yesterday I watched Donald Trump be sworn in as president of the United States.  I wish I could've been to the inauguration  in person.  It was awesome.  Yep, awesome. ☺ I loved his speech.  I loved that the mormon tabernacle performed.   I really feel that he's going to do an amazing job as president.

Andrew's Basketball Game

I went to Andrews basketball game earlier this evening. Andrew played really well! I got kind of teary-eyed watching him play. So proud of him.

New Year's Eve

We had an awesome New Year's eve.  Three of Aaron's sisters and their families celebrated with us.  We had lots of good eats and we played a new game called One Night Ultimate Werewolf.
Brody made a goal for Thanksgiving 2017...he wants to go to Disney world.   (No big deal)
