Gary Howard Gray passed away surrounded by his loved ones on April 15, 2024 at the age of 78.  He was born August 22, 1945 in Provo, Utah to Howard William and Eva Allen Gray.  He was the brother to Linda, Alan and Randy Gray, and Tom and Kris Halladay.  He grew up and lived the majority of his life in Lehi, Utah.

He married the love of his life, Naomi Colledge in June of 1965.  They loved spending every minute they could together and their marriage was an example to everyone.  Together they had four sons who he loved spending time with until the day he died. He enjoyed coaching and supporting them in baseball, football, wrestling, hunting and just being a dad. Gary and Naomi lived life to the fullest.  This included many trips to Disneyland, nightly walks, and supporting their children and grandchildren in the many activities they had.  They were married until February 13, 1996 when Naomi passed away due to complications from a same day surgery.

He later married Linda Scott Gray in 2002 and gained four more children, Becky, Leslie, Jodi, Parker and spouses. This also added many grandchildren and great grandchildren to his family. Together Linda and Gary enjoyed traveling all around the world, spending time gardening in their beautiful yard, completing 6 years as service missionaries at the Salt lake Temple Conference Center, hosting many parties and dinners and supporting their children and grandchildren in their many activities.

Gary was an expert gardener producing the finest fruits and vegetables.  Each home he lived in always looked immaculate. Maintaining a beautiful yard was one of his many passions.

Gary was a man of service. He loved to serve others including neighbors, widows, friends and family.  He served in many church callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including bishop for the Lehi 12th Ward.  He loved those he served.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Eva, a sister Linda Holdaway, brothers Alan and Randy Gray, grandson Brandon Scott Gray and his wife, Naomi Lenore Colledge Gray.  He is survived by his current wife, Linda Scott Gray.  Children, Gary Bryce Gray (Carol), Bart Evan Gray (Lexi), Clinton Howard Gray (Ronna) and Kurt Lee Gray (Heather).  Step children, Becky Russell (Ryan), Leslie Knecht (Roger), Jody Neitz (Aaron), and Parker Scott.  Gary has 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
