Love it when I close my eyes for pictures. :)

I just wanted to write a little run down of the first day of our trip. Here it goes...
I met Karie and Roxanne at the SLC airport early in the morning on 8/26. We flew from SLC to Denver. At the Denver airport we all had a breakfast burrito from Mcdonalds. Then we boarded our next plane and flew to Baltimore. Shortly after our arrival we met up with Suzy, RuthAnn, and LouAnn. All of us took a shuttle bus to our hotel -Embassy Suites. We had an amazing suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. That evening we had dinner at City Brewery. All of us tried something different on the menu. I had a chicken wrap and cole slaw. The food was delicious. And best of all...I didn't have to pay for it. Grandma and Grandpa Walker paid for whole meal. Thanks again you two! After dinner we all went for a walk. We saw the White House and a very weedy lawn (Apparently Obama doesn't have HOA's). Across the street from the White House there were protestors for women's rights. There were also men playing hockey.. We met 2 sisters from Chicago who had come for Glenn Beck's rally. On our way back to the hotel we stopped at a CVS for water and treats. We saw a few people video taping. We asked if they were making a movie. Apparently they had just spotted Chuck Norris going into Old Ebbit Grill. We tried to find him for a picture, but no luck. We arrived to our hotel and picked numbers for beds. Karie and I got the sleeper sofa.
