Girl's Trip Day 3

Beach day!  🥰
My favorite.  We decided to take some pics before we got sandy and salty.

Check out this amazing tree in the front yard!  Of course we had to climb it.

I've never seen a beach this beautiful!  The sand is white like snow and so soft.  The water is crystal clear.

Not crowded at all!

Antlers!

We found a ton of live sand dollars.  We put them back in the ocean.

A manatee swam by Kristie and I.  It definitely made us nervous, but no harm was done.
A storm came through out of no where!  We had to evacuate the beach.  The rain was warm!  Ha ha.  So different from Utah weather.

There was a nice covered patio of sorts close to the parking lot.  We decided it was a good spot for lunch.

This little lizard looked like something from Jurassic Park.  Every time he took a breath, this red thing would come out of his neck.  Ewe!

The storm passed through in about 15 minutes.  We went back to the beach.  Kristie and I swam for at least another 2 or 3 hours.

After the beach, we went home and showered.  We drove around Sarasota looking for a place to eat and found a Five Below.  How have I never heard of this store?  Lots of fun treasures inside @ $5 or below.

We ate dinner down the street @ Gecko's Grill & Pub.  It was yummy.

Kristie and Leslie looked at flights for the weekend.  Nothing was available Sunday when we were planning to leave.  We decided to leave Florida a day early and fly to JFK airport where we would have a better chance getting a flight home.
