Aaron and I took the kids out to dinner tonight. We let Andrew choose the restaurant since he's leaving for his mission Tuesday. He chose Thai Village in American Fork. I was kind of surprised that he chose to eat there, simply because he worked there for so long and he always got a free meal at the end of each shift. Although the food was delicious, I realized that the reason he wanted to go there was that he wanted to say goodbye to all of his coworkers.
I am terrible with names. This man is one of the chefs. He was so kind to our family. He gave us a free appetizer and dessert.
This sweet lady is the chef's mother. She can't speak a word of English, but she and Andrew were communicating. She gave Andrew the biggest hug ever. Andrew told us she'd always fix him treats and sometimes she'd step in and do dishes with him. 💕
