Where'd The Car Go?

 

Heyyy fam!

Its me again! Otra semana aquí en Texas, I hope you all had a feliz Pascua!

Highlights🙌🙌

●We had dinner with our amiga Olivia! AND we put her on date!!! She is the cutest ever and she is so excited! May 4 couldn't come sooner!

●Ok...right after we put her on date it was like 9:30 at night, and we walk out to go to our car and...it's gone. Yeah so our car got towed all the way to Fort Worth. But the expirience turned out kinda fun, we asked some members In the ward if they could take us to go get it, and they took us on a detour to the Cowboys and Texas Rangers stadium! It's outside of our mission so it was lit lol, we finally got our car though $165 later🫡💀 We gave the tow lady our whole missionary spill but she didn't budge with the price..

●Our amiga has covid and we may have taught her last week and now my comp has been out cold the last couple days🤷‍♀️ you could say we're pros at making cookies now though cause that's what we've been doing the last couple days👩‍🍳

Ok guys this weeks personal study has been my favorite! I made a goal to study holy week more deeper then I have before and It's been such a good expirience. I loved sharing messages on Christs resurrection with so many of our amigos to. Something that stood out to me was in "Come Follow Me" this week:

"What does it mean to say that Jesus Christ is “he who liveth”? It doesn’t just mean that He rose from the tomb and appeared to His disciples in Galilee. It means that He lives today. He speaks through prophets today. He leads His Church today. He heals wounded souls and broken hearts today. So we can echo the words of Joseph Smith’s powerful testimony: “After the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony … which we give of him: That he lives!” (Doctrine and Covenants 76:22)."

He is risen! Jesus Christ lives! He lives TODAY! He is the ultimate place where we can find comfort, strength, and joy in all things. I love being a missionary and getting to share that message with so many!
