Sister's Retreat

My mom and three of her sisters went on a church history trip back East.  They saw so many amazing things.  I'm just a little jelly.  Here are the pics/texts she sent me.

We went to Boothbay Harbor, Maine on Wednesday. It was so beautiful! We shopped in a quaint little village and had clam chowder and lobster rolls. We went on a harbor cruise and watched them catch lobsters. We I ran into some dear friends from home, David and Chris Durfey, while we were shopping. It was so surprising to see familiar faces so far from home. They were in Maine vacationing. Dave ran heritage tours with Brother Eliason for a long time, and I think he still does it. Maine is GORGEOUS. I could live here. Today we go to Sharon Vermont.

We are having fun! We saw the Joseph smith birthplace in Sharon Vermont today and went through the visitors center. It's so beautiful here!
We are in New Hampshire tonight.

Robert Frost's home
Diane and Judy coming into his back yard on what I imagine to be "the road not taken."

It's in the middle of the Appalachian mountains, surrounded by woods.

Yale football team warming up in the parking lot of our hotel.
They are playing at Dartmouth, which is about 2 blocks from here.

Church this morning in Harmony Pennsylvania, on the banks of the Susquehanna River. Joseph and Emma's home, Isaac Hale's home, and the grave of Alvin, their first infant son.
