We made it to the Carnival! I didn't think it was going to happen this year. When I returned home from Girl's Camp last Friday, I went to buy tickets, but the office closed early that day. Luckily, my parents bought some extra tickets.
Funny story:
My dad was mistaken for Dale Murphy by a group of children. The mom, (I presume) asked if he was President Murphy? My dad said no and gave her his name. She seemed disappointed, so my dad stated, "I can be if you need me to be." After that, he turned around and reached out his arms. All the kids gave him a hug. 😊
Pretty fun hearing him tell the story.
