I took Lizzy to the Vet today. She's had a mass in her bottom breast for about 6 months. Lizzy was in heat last week and I am worried that our neighbors dog may have got her pregnant. The mass has grown significantly. Lizzy's been laying around a lot and she won't touch her food.
I put off taking her to the vet because I was hoping it would go away on it's own and scared about how much it would cost. I finally bit the bullet and took her to Country View Vet. Hospital. She was seen by Scott Leiter. He believes Lizzy has an abcess. Lizzy's scheduled to go back Tuesday. They'll give her a rabies shot and put a drain in. I pray that she'll be able to make it that long and that everything will go well.
