Deanna, RuthAnn, and I drove to Ammon, Idaho today to attend Celia Jones' funeral. Celia is my brother in law's mother (Craig Jones). Craig gave a life history of his mother. He did a wonderful job. Even though I didn't know her, I felt like she was a close friend.
Eleana (Craig and Karie's daughter) sang "Wind Beneath My Wings." She did an amazing job as well. It was so beautiful.
The ride up to Idaho was beautiful. All of the trees and vegetation were covered in ice.
On the ride home we took an exit hoping to find a restroom. We ended up at Downata Hot Springs (One of Aaron and his siblings favorite stomping grounds)
Apparently, Craig helped build the slide above!
It was a special day. I love road trips!
