Exploring The Uintas

Aaron and Bryson will be camping in the Uintas with the scouts the second week of July.  We decided to go for a ride and explore the campsites/trails.  We made our way up to Echo Lake.  It's beautiful up there.  We saw an elk, 2 Moose, and several deer.  I snapped a few pics.  Thankfully we have Brody.  He's our picture taker.

Can We Please Go Fishing?

Can we please go fishing???  I hear this question from Bryson at least 2 or 3 times a day.  Ha ha.  It makes me so happy.
Saturday after Bryson's baseball tournament, we took him fishing.  We tried Tibble Fork, bit it was insanely busy.

Aaron showed Bryson some spots in the river, and look what they caught!

Bryson wasn't ready to quit, so we tried our luck at Manilla Pond.

Brody went for a swim, I got my 10,000 steps, Kent got out of the house, and Aaron and Bryson fished.  Everyone was happy.  🥰

26 Years

I can't tell you how much I love this guy. Heavenly Father was looking out for me when our paths crossed.   He knew just what I needed.
Today marks 26 years since we were married, (Man, it's gone by fast).  We got some dinner at a place called  Teri Gao Cafe, then we went to the hospital to check in on my dad.
Love you Aaron.  Happy Anni to us.

Ascending Aortic Aneurism

A couple weeks ago, my dad went in for a routine check up with Dr Mower.  Dr Mower listened to his heart and heard a murmur.  Dr Mower ordered an EKG for him.  The EKG showed that my dad's aorta was bulging.   A CT scan was then ordered.  It confirmed that my dad's aorta was 7.2 cm!
They scheduled my dad for the next opening they had at Utah Valley Hospital.   He had an angiogram yesterday and today he arrived for surgery at 4:45 am.

His case number is UVOR 6266

My mom and I left the hospital for a few hours.  They kicked us out at 6:00.  My dad's surgery didn't start til 8:07.  He was in surgery for 7 hours!

They kept him sedated til just after 11 pm.  Luckily, no brain fog.  Lots of recovery ahead.  So grateful that the surgery was a success and he's still with us.  Love you dad!

Karie & Craig's Homecoming

We made a quick trip to Rexburg Saturday afternoon.

Pocatello Temple

Our Airb&b was in the basement of this house.

We did a little shopping at Deseret Industries.  Brody found a shirt for Abby.

We ate dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe.  😋

Sunday am, I made waffles, eggs, and bacon for breakfast.  Grandpa Walker forgot to pack a white shirt and Brody forgot dress pants.  We stopped at Goodwill, found those items, then we drove to Bear World.
Bear World was so cool.   There was so much to see.  The tickets are pricey, but lucky for us, it was free with our Get Out Passes.  We only had 1.5 hours, then we left for Karie and Craig's homecoming.
