Youth Conference came and went so quickly, but we had an amazing time.
Our schedule
A map of Aspen Grove
We arrived @ Aspen shortly before 5 on Friday. We checked into our rooms. I got to room with Kerry Mansfield!
We ate dinner and explored the grounds. A lot has changed since my highschool senior day. 😊

Before our devotional, the phones were gathered in a basket. This made several people upset, but it all worked out.
Our speaker was Parker Marsden. He happens to be Abby's seminary teacher, (AKA Zach Efron). He spoke about talents/spiritual gifts and how trials can make us stronger. I really enjoyed his message. At the end of his remarks, we passed out letters from parents.
The last event of the evening was the dance! Holly Waddington found us a great DJ. I think everyone really enjoyed it..
The next morning a handful of us decided to hike to Stewart Falls. We weren't prepared for the rain, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
We were supposed to do a ropes course as a group, but due to the rain, many of us were cold and didn't have another dry change of clothes. We ended up playing games in our living area. It was so much fun.

Talents treasure hunt/phone retrieve
We packed up Saturday and headed home just before 4. Special thanks to the Waddingtons for all their planning and preparation.
Also, a special thanks to my parents for watching Alyssa and Bryson while we were gone. They spoiled them with dinner at Chuckarama and a fun filled day at Lagoon.
