Happy 4th of July/250 Years of Freedom

Our 4th of July was a little different this year. We didn't go to any parades and we didn't do fireworks.  

We slept in.  

We drove out to Tooele to visit Andrew.  

On the way back we stopped at Settlement Canyon Reservoir. 

We drove through Middle Canyon and Butterfield Canyon.  We saw several deer and a coyote.

Aaron watched The World Cup and I pulled out some clay and tried to make a bear. 

Later in the evening, we decided to demo our bathroom in the basement.   

We got to talk to Abby for a little bit.  5 more weeks til she comes home!

Fireworks

Alyssa and Nash got to watch the Art Dye Fireworks Show at Fox Hollow in a golf cart!

  

 

One Positive

Aaron and I picked up Bryson and Nathan from FSY tonight.  This was our view on the ride home.  All the fires/smoke make beautiful sunsets. 

 

Pokémon Party

 

I don't think many people know that Andrea is an amazing artist.  She started painting custom Pokémon binders as a hobby, and has been pretty successful with it.  Tonight there was a Pokémon Party at Croma TCG in Lehi.  Andrea and Andrew set up their store and had a great night.    

Off To FSY

 Bryson and his buddy Nathan are at FSY for the week.  I hope they have an amazing time.

Throwback Thursday

Remember how the AF Citizen posted obituaries, missionary farewells, births,  and wedding announcements?  Well,  I found my and Aaron's wedding announcement from 1999.  Ha ha.  Aaron and I were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple 27 years ago today!  I can't believe that much time has passed.   We've been so blessed.   Aaron, I love you!  Happy Anniversary. 

 

So Many Fires

The air quality in Utah is terrible right now.  We have fires in Eureka, one up by the UofU, one in Tooele, and another down by Beaver.  We also have smoke blowing in from neighboring states that has settled in the valley.  

The smoke has been so thick, there are times you can't see the mountains!  

All Tuckered Out

 Bryson went to Splash Summit with his buddy, Jack.  They played hard.  It was such a great day.
