Ethan

I  received some disturbing news yesterday.  A friend of mine from highschool lost her oldest son to Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.  My heart is so heavy right now.  Although I never got to meet Ethan it feels like I did.  I've followed his facebook page (Ethan's Team) for the last 2 years. I am amazed at his strength.  Thank goodness families are forever. 

  Here's the last post I read.

"Last night, Ethan Ron Mendenhall ran to heaven and now resides with his Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ. He passed away quickly and peacefully in his mothers arms. We are so proud of him, for who he was, what he did and how he loved us all. For those who spent time with him, they were privileged to stand with a Celestial being, and he now resides in glory. We love you son and already miss you. We are glad your mortal fight is done. We look forward to being together again as an eternal family soon. Families are forever and we feel gratitude for that knowledge."
