Paris Ice Cave
About 10 minutes North of Bear Lake, there is a town called Paris, Idaho. My Great Grandma and Grandpa Passey are buried there. On Sunday afternoon, Aaron and I decided to take the family for a ride and explore. We drove through Paris canyon and found ourselves at Paris Ice Cave. Paris Ice Cave is so cool, literally. -Apparently the pioneers used it to store food in the hot summer months.

Hi, we are planning to visit the Ice Caves next week. We have kids, including a 1 yo- trying to decide if we should take them with us or not. How easy is it for kids? What about taking a baby in the babybjorn carrier? How far into the cave are you able to get with the baby carrier? Was there still ice when you went? Thanks for any info
I just saw this comment. The cave isn't very deep. There are basically 2 sections of the cave. I only went into the first section, Mainly because I had my baby who was 3 months at the time. My husband was able to go in the 2nd section easily. :) There's still ice (I believe it's there all year round)and it's very slick, so make sure you wear good shoes! Also, make sure you bring a flash light and a jacket. The temperature drops quickly.
