We made it to Bear Lake! Life was kind of crazy for a while, so I wasn't sure if we would. I'm so glad that we did.
This year we took a new route to Bear Lake. We drove on a dirt road through Ogden Canyon. We went through several cities such as Eden, Avon, Paradise, Hyrum, etc. 
We saw several fields with yellow, purple, and white flowers. It was gorgeous!
Oh how I love these fences!
A couple of hours later, we made it to Bear Lake! Thank you Aaron for being such a great navigator.
We stayed in a motel at Ideal Beach Resort. We did a ton of swimming at the lake and at the pools. Saturday evening we had a family BBQ. It was so great to see everyone. -Just like old times.
Aaron purchased a "Relaxation Station" at Costco shortly before we left. It was a hit this year.
On Sunday we went for a ride around the lake. Aaron ran over a rattle snake! He turned the car around and both of us jumped out to get a better look. Our daughter Abby was scared to death. She kept screaming at us to get back in the car. We kept our distance, but took several pics. (I think we took more pictures of the snake than we did our kids the whole trip).
The snake was still alive when Aaron hit it. Everyone has asked us if we kept the rattle. The answer is no we did not. Aaron drove over it a couple more times when we left to put it out of it's misery.
On Monday, we checked out of our motel. We hit the beach and the pools one last time.
