Pony Rides

Thursday evening as we were driving home, my kids and I got on the subject of horses.
Andrew and Abby asked me when they would be able to ride a horse?
I didn't have an answer, because I don't know anyone that has a horse.
I began to tell my kids about my childhood.
How I lived across the street from my Grandpa Argyle
who owned several horses and a pony.
Several times during the week we would go for pony cart rides or horse back riding.
It was so much fun!
It made me sad that my kids don't have the same things that I enjoyed.
We drove past a farm off of Main St. in Lehi with a sign that said "Pony Rides."
I pulled over an Walla.
For just $3.50 each, my kids got their first pony ride!

Preschool Field Trip

Abby and Bree's preschool class went on a field trip last Thursday.

They went to Pumpkin Land in Orem just off Geneva road.

The field trip was great.

Some of the highlights were a corn maze,

a garden, animals, a playground, a lighted barn, and free pumpkins!

I had to work early in the morning,

so Aaron got the girls ready and met me at the park.

Don't they look adorable in their Halloween attire???

Someone's Junk/Our Treasure

I got this kitchen table off of Craig's list almost 2 years ago.
When we got the table it was scratched and beat up in a pretty bad way.
Aaron and I made it our own (Sanded, stained, painted, etc).
We even stained our chairs to match.
Now we have enough room for everyone in our family.
I'm so happy with the way it turned out! :)

Half Way To 70!

Guess who's half way to 70?
That would be my hubby Aaron!
We had a little birthday party for him last night.
He didn't have time for a party today due to work and scouts.
I think the party was a success.
-Lots of yummy food and family.
We love you Aaron and hope you have a Happy Birthday.

I Love Conference Weekend!

Conference weekend is so nice.
I get to have my hubby home.
My family and I get to listen to amazing talks.
And all of us get to be LAZY!!!

My Lil Stinker!

Alyssa has become very mischievous lately.
She likes to open drawers and rearrange.
We found 20 pair of underwear in the toilet.
Yes, I counted them. 20 pair!Here's some pics I took of her with my phone.
