It's Official!!

 Hola Todos!!

I've Officially been a missionary for 2 weeks, and have been in the CCM since Thursday🥳 I love it here, it's actually been way fun! My companion is hermana Huffman she is THE BEST i just love her! And I love my district, we all have so much fun. There's only 6 of us, 2 sets of Hermanas and 1 set of elders, but we have the best time! 

Here's some updates:

▪︎The food here is actually muy bien!! Didnt know enchiladas here were more like toquitos but they were still way good!

▪︎I guess you just get thown into the fire as soon as you get here cause me and my compenera had to give a lesson in Español to someone who just spoke Español, it was a little rough but we did it haha.🫣

▪︎Vollyball at gym times goes crazy!!

▪︎The tienda is a lifesaver!! Dr. Pepper from there is an essential.

We also had the opportunity to hear from L. Todd Budge the 2nd counselor in the presiding bishopric at the devotional Sunday night, it was SO GOOD!! He talked about love and how much God loves us but also how important it is to love others, especially as a missionary.

He shared Matthew 5: 43-45

43 ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

I love this scripture because it is so true! God really does love us all. Theres not one of us he loves more then the other. He is our ultimate example of love! As a missionary I am literally teaching the gosple of love, it is so important that I am an example of that! None of us our perfect but I know as we try to love more we will feel our saviors love for us so much more in our lives, and ultimately feel so much happier.
