Walker Thanksgiving 2022

Lori Anne Sume

Our amazing, fun, and talented sister, Lori Anne Sume, 64, passed away on November 21, 2022, in American Fork, UT. after an extended illness.

She was born April 27, 1958 in Vancouver, BC, Canada to Raino Robert Sume and Mary Lois Biggar Sume, the 3rd of 7 children.

Lori was a joyful person, who had a quirky sense of humor, and the ability to connect with people of any age. She loved little children and the elderly and made an effort to share her love with all. Lori loved drawing from a young age, studied it in college, and made a career out of it. She spent countless hours sharing her talent and drawing for others: Christmas cards, birthday cards, baby posters, portraits, etc. Aside from her illustration job, she illustrated several books for friends and was working on some books with her sisters. She loved her family and enjoyed any time spent with them-especially if it included her nieces or nephews, and her darling great nieces and great nephews. She was present at every event and was so involved in all our lives.

She loved to go for walks, take care of her yard and garden, and was always up for a movie or any other adventure. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always served enthusiastically in any calling she was given. Lori so enjoyed all the good friends she made working as a temple worker for many years. She was close to so many that she met through different jobs and wards she attended-and she stayed friends with all. She was the definition of a good friend. She believed in being positive and hoping for the very best in every situation-if you were her Facebook or Instagramfriend, you know the type of things she shared with the world: joy, hope, and happiness. Her sunshine brightened every heartbreak, every difficult day, and made every life so much better. We miss our Lori so much.

Lori is survived by her siblings: David Sume, Debra (Troy) Reynolds, Gary (Jerri) Sume, Karen (Alan) Oakes, Tracey (Todd) Draper and many nieces and nephews and their darling children. She is preceded in death by her parents and her youngest brother Jason Sume (or Bumper, as Lori called him).

The funeral service for Lori Sume will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at
11:00 AM at Hillcrest 1st Ward, 949 N, 540 W American Fork Utah. A viewing will be held Friday evening, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork, 49 East 100 North, and on Saturday at the church preceding the funeral from 9:30-10:45 AM.

Please share a memory on Lori's Guestbook at www.AndersonMortuary.com.

Christmas Holy Cow Boutique

Jarrad, (AKA McGuiver)

Abby had accident today.  She backed up into a Tacoma after school.  The Tacoma didn't seem to have any damage, but the Ford  was pretty beat up.  Abby exchanged numbers, then came home.  She was so upset.  I tried to comfort her, but didn't know what to do.  We sent a text to Aaron who was at a conference in Arizona.  Then we called Dent Patrol.  We were told they could fix the dent for $230 the following morning.  Shortly after,  Aaron called us back.  He recommended that Abby check with our neighbor, Jarrad, (AKA McGuiver).  Jarrad looked at the car.  He asked Abby to get the keys for the trunk.  She ran in the house.  When she returned, he had fixed the dent!
Now you see it...

Now you don't!

He says he looked underneath and hit it back out!  I am just in awe.  Thanks Jarrad.  You're a great neighbor.
