Fourth of July Weekend @ Bear Lake

Feeling blessed today.  

There is so much commotion in the world right now.  As I watch the news, I can't help but worry and stress about things that I have no control of.  This past weekend, I was able to disconnect and focus on my family and friends.  What a breath of fresh air!

We had a wonderful weekend with friends @ Bear Lake.  

Day 1:  

We stayed @ Saunder's Cabin off the golf course

We drove The Mcwhorters and the Richin's joined us a little later.  Everyone played games and relaxed.

Leslie brought her snowcone machine and Ashlie brought her cotton candy machine.

DAY 2:  Happy 4th of July!  We all woke up bright and early to get a spot @ North Beach.  Such a beautiful day! We rode jet skis, played on paddle boards, and lounged in the relaxation station.  We stayed for almost 10 hours! Almost everyone got burned.  🌞

We packed up all of toys and went back to the cabin.  Leslie ordered Bear Lake Pizza!

We went to LaBeau's for shakes!

There were fireworks going off all around the lake!

Day 3:  We all slept in.  I think everyone really wore themselves out on Saturday.  After breakfast, we separated into 3 groups.  Some of us went back to North Beach.  Some of us stayed at the cabin.  The rest of us went to Bloomington Lake.  I myself went to Bloomington Lake.  We swam, swung on the rope swing, and did some cliff jumping.  Some people were eveninv sledding down the snow into the lake.  I was a little nervous about our activities, but we made it out with only a couple injuries, (Aaron hurt his finger and Kylie got some bruises).  

Aaron and I were in charge of dinner.  We prepared some chicken Alfredo, salad, and garlic bread.  We spent the rest of the evening just visiting and telling stories.

If we go back far enough, we're all related.  😊

Day 4:  We ate breakfast and packed up.  Checkout was at 10 am.  We got a group picture and left.  Until our next adventure!
