One Year Older...

I am another year older.  I have to say that birthdays aren't what they were when I was a kid.  I use to really look forward to them, but now I really try to avoid them. 😊My husband spoiled me this year though.  Saturday we drove North.  We weren't sure where we would end up.  We had dinner at the Cracker Barrel  in Layton.  We landed in Logan and stayed at the Best Western Plus Weston Inn. 

We scored!  We got the honeymoon suite.  Our room had a king sized bed, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub the size of Texas.  It was amazing!

Sunday morning after breakfast we drove to my favorite place in the whole world!

Of course we had to stop at Ideal Beach

A momma goose had layed eggs on the dock.  She wanted us out!

We drove to Paris cemetary and visited my great grandma and grandpa's graves.

We couldn't pass through garden city without getting a raspberry shake!

Alyssa's Time Machine Project

Alyssa has been working hard over the last two months on her "Time Machine" project.  Mrs. Alger let all of her students choose a person who has made a difference in the world.  Alyssa chose to do her project on Noelle Pikus Pace.

One Project Completed!

We have a lot of projects planned for this summer.  One of those plans was to cut down an apple tree so we can be get fill dirt in our back yard.  I placed an ad on KSL titled "Free firewood - you cut."  I feel blessed because some young men responded to my ad.

Celebratiing April Birthdays

 

Jordan River Temple Open House

Aaron and I took our kids to the Jordan River Temple Open House earlier this evening.   The temple was beautiful.  Even though it hasn't been dedicated yet, you could definitely feel the spirit there.

Alyssa's Field Trip To The Tulip Festival

I got to go on a field trip with Alyssa to the tulip festival.  The gardens were beautiful of course.  And my little group of girls were fun to chaperone.
