Reynold Mark Robinson

I know you should never have favorites when you're a nurse,
but Mark was one of mine.
I worked with him for over 5 years.
I'm really going to miss him.

Reynold Mark Robinson

1954 ~ 2010

Reynold Mark Robinson, age 56, passed away December 22, 2010 in the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Mark is the second child of Dr. R. Dean and Ramona Robinson. Mark was one of our Heavenly Father's special children who has given and received much love from his family and the many others who have been involved in his day-to-day care. Mark was always a very happy individual and had a beautiful smile for everyone he met. He loved people, and everyone he associated with during his lifetime loved him. Mark was one of our Heavenly Fathers choice spirits. He has left a vacant spot in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

Mark was born in the Yuba City, California Community Hospital on November 28, 1954. When he was one year old, he moved with his family to San Francisco, California so that his father could attend the University of California School of Dentistry. After four years in San Francisco, the family moved to San Luis Obispo, California where his father set up his dental practice and Mark was able to attend the Chris Jespersen School, a school designed for children with special needs. Mark moved with his family in 1991 to Utah and he has resided at the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork until the time of his death. It has been a joy for his parents to have him home one day a week and on holidays, where they could spend quality time together. Mark's family wants to express their appreciation to the administration and the direct care staff at the Utah State Developmental Center and to the physicians, nurses and others at the American Fork Hospital for all their tender loving care that they have given Mark for the past 20 years.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, his sister Dene'e (Fred) Jex, his nieces, Sjani (Ryan) Boggs, Myra (Craig) Owens, Eliza Jex and nephews, David (Erin) Jex and Justin (Gretchen) Jex, one grandniece Emma Jex and three grand nephews Carson Jex, Lucas Jex and Atticus Boggs.

We look forward to the time when we can be together again as a family in the eternities. It gives us great comfort to know that he is now free from the mental and physical limitations he has lived with for these past 56 years.
