Several Fires 🔥 In Utah

So many fires in Utah this past week!  One in Traverse Mountain, one in Saratoga Springs, and a couple others in Southern Utah.   Prayers for all of those who've been effected.

Last Minute Trip!

Yesterday, I took the kids to Bear Lake last minute.  We were bored and Bear Lake sounded so fun.  

I had everyone put on a swimsuit.  Then we grabbed some drinks and treats.  We left the house @ 1 pm and arrived a little after 4.  The first thing we did was swim in the lake.  The water was freezing, but none of us cared.  Everyone touched the buoy!  

We swam for about an hour.  We hoped to swim in one of the pools @ Ideal Beach, but because of the corona virus, we were unable to.

We went to LaBeau's for milk shakes and fries.  😋

We went for a little drive over to Fish Haven.  I showed the kids a cabin that I love.  It's been on the market for almost a year now.  Wish we could buy it.  

 Before I knew it, we were back on the road headed for home.  I usually cry whenever we leave Bear Lake.  -I love it so much.  But because we'll be back next weekend, I held back.  

Much Needed Yard Work

Andrew and I tackled the yard today!  We removed some obnoxious prickly plants and trimmed some bushes.  When we were finished, we took everything to the green dump.  

I am so bummed.  There was a sign that stated that the green dump's last day of operation is June 27th.  I asked them why they were closing.  Apparently there is a lawsuit against them.

Missing Aaron today on our anniversary.  He and some friends are down in Moab for a "Guys Trip."

This Just Happend!

Alyssa has wanted to get her ears pierced for as long as I can remember.  Today I finally caved.  I took her to Claire's @ University Mall.  Alyssa did great.  No tears whatsoever.  She is beaming from one ear to the other!  😉

Father's Day Weekend 2020

What a fun weekend!  We took our camper out for the first time this year.  We went down South to Argyle Canyon with the Mcwhorters, the Knechts and the Richins.  The Knechts have about 10 acres of land there.  We played games, rode side by sides, shot guns, and just enjoyed each other's company.
