My Baby Is 11...Almost!

Andrew will be 11 years old on Monday! Oh my goodness. Where did the time go?

We had a little birthday party for him earlier tonight. Andrew had a pretty good turn out. 6 of his 8 friends he invited came. We watched the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie "Chipwrecked." -It was a pretty cute show.

We ate Little Caesars pizza with dry iced root beer (Per Andrew's request).

I made Andrew an ice cream Oreo cake. -It was pretty good if I may say so myself.

Alyssa zonked out during the movie. What a sweet little girl.

Andrew's Baseball Tryouts

Andrew had baseball tryouts for American Fork City yesterday. I think he did pretty well. We should be getting a phone call next week to let us know what team he'll be on. Good job buddy!

...Oh Dear!

In one of my past posts, I mentioned that I gave Bree a haircut. I meant to take a picture of her, but unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough. Bree gave herself another haircut last night. She found a pair of scissors and cut her pony tail. She cut about 3 inches off. I was very upset. I asked her why? Her answer was, "If you cut it, it grows faster." Oh dear! -I'm afraid she learned that one from me.

Joseph's Homecoming/Parker's Blessing/Baby Shower

What a busy week it has been!My nephew Joseph returned home from his mission on Thursday.

Parker (My niece's son) was blessed on Sunday.

My family gave me a baby shower Sunday evening. Ashley made this diaper cake.

We had a lot of yummy food. My mom made amazing cupcakes!

I got a ton of new outfits for our little guy and a Bumbo seat. Thanks so much Mom, Ashley, Adrienne, Svetlana, Grandma Argyle, and Aunt Judy.

Utah Jazz VS. Denver Nuggets

Aaron and I got to go to the Jazz game Friday night. My brother-in-law scored some extra tickets from his work and invited us to come along.The game so good! I couldn't believe how well everyone played.

The final score was 121 to 102! Way to go Jazz! Thanks again for inviting us Trent and Deanna. And thank you Mom, Dad, Kent and LouJean for watching our kids.

Cookie Cutters

Alyssa and I took Abby to get her hair cut earlier today.We went to Cookie Cutters in American Fork.

Abby has been telling me for weeks that she wants to get her hair cut short.

We got home and Bree became upset. -She wanted to get her hair cut too. I gave her a hair cut. It's not as short as Abby's, but she looks adorable. I'll have to post some pictures later.

Non Stress Tests

I've had a couple of Non Stress Tests now. Baby and I are still doing well.The red line is baby's heart rate and the blue line is my contractions. -I thought it was kind of interesting. :)

St. Patty's Day Fun

My mom made St. Patrick's day special this year! Earlier today we went over to my parent's home for dinner, (Like we do every Sunday). Following dinner, my mom sent the grand kids on a picture treasure hunt. At the end of "The rainbow," the kids found a pot of gold (AKA chocolate gold coins). Then my mom had the kids decorate sugar cookies and color pictures. My kids had a great time. Thanks Mom!

Angels Among Us

I went to our ward Relief Society Birthday Party last night. The theme for the party was "Angels Among Us." Each of the women in our ward shared instances where other women have touched their lives. At the closing of the meeting, we listened to the song Angels Among Us by Alabama. -Oh my goodness. Lots of tears. It was a very spiritual meeting.

A Little Bit Of Excitement In Our Neighborhood

We had a little bit of excitement in our neighborhood earlier today. We heard fire sirens, so we looked out our front window. Here's what we saw!

A home a block and a half away from us was on fire! Apparently a trailer on the side of the home caught fire. A propane tank exploded and spread the fire to the garage and to the neighbors yard next door.

There were several firetrucks and policemen.

I walked over just as they turned on the fire hose.

An elderly couple owns the home. I heard from other people around me that a neighbor got them out of the house. Everyone's okay. No one was injured. Pretty scary though.

New Phones!

Aaron and I got new phones on Saturday. My phone kept dying on me, and when the phone rebooted, it would drain the battery. Our contracts were up as well, so we got us some Razors. I must admit I'm a little slow, but Aaron is teaching me. He's got me signed up with Words With Friends and I love it! -He he. This is the first picture I took with my phone. What a good lookin dude!

A Camping They Did Go

Aaron and Andrew went camping with the scouts last night. They stayed in American Fork canyon and according to Andrew, "They froze their buns off." Aaron and Andrew had it pretty easy. They slept in the suburban, so every time Andrew got cold, Aaron turned on the heater. :)

Andrew only got scared once! While they were sitting around the fire, Andrew turned around and saw two yellow eyes staring at him. At first he thought it was a cougar, but on further speculation, he saw that it was just a raccoon.

This morning after breakfast they went snow shoeing.

Everyone made it back home safe and sound.

Aaron's New Massage Therapy Room

Aaron is in the process of hiring a new massage therapist at his office. Last weekend he, Abby, and I fixed up his extra room. Aaron bought a new table at Costco.

We bought a new double lamp, some baskets, and a hamper.

We also bought a couple of new pillows, a side table, 2 pictures, and a small lamp. I think it turned out nice.
