How To Trim A Tree???

I've been quite the hermit the last few days.
I've been working on decorations for my husband's office.
I made some wood blocks

Some material/button balls,

and a whole bunch of other decorations.

You'll have to go to Dry Creek Chiropractic to see the rest!

Gobble Gobble

Our Thanksgiving was great this year.
We celebrated it with Aaron's side of the family.
We didn't have as much family attend this year as we have in the past.
Suzy, Teresa, Karie, and Sam weren't able to make it.
We did get Grandma and Grandpa Walker there though.
(Which almost didn't happen, since Grandma's leg is still broken).
The food was fabulous as always.
Here are a couple of pics I snapped.
My cute little shy Alyssa

My silly handsome hubby
My sister-in-law Deanna (The one who made it happen)

Lots of yummy food.

Lots of loud children. JK Breelyn

A very happy Thanksgiving!

Sasha's Birthday

My niece Sasha turned one this past week.
Shane and Svetlana had a little birthday party for her Monday evening.
My parents, all of my siblings, and their families came.
We had pizza, eclairs, cookies, cake and icecream.
It was great to see everyone.
Happy Birthday Sasha!

Parent's and Pie

Yesterday I got to go to Abby and Bree's preschool.
Mrs. Alesha had a "Parents and Pie" event.
All of the kids sang some Thanksgiving songs,
they passed out some cute cards,
and then everyone ate some yummy pie.
Alyssa and I really enjoyed ourselves.

FHE Crafts

Almost!

I really wanted to meet George Bush.
George did a book signing at Costco in Sandy today from 1-3.
We arrived at Costco at about 12:45.
The parking lot was completely full,
but we were able to find a spot clear out in the boondocks.
We waited in what I thought was the end of the line for about 10 minutes.
-Then a man asked to see my wrist band.
A wrist band...I had no idea I needed a wrist band!
Wrist bands were on the back east side of the building.
We ran back there, got a wrist band, and stood in line again.
I had Brody, Bree, and Alyssa sitting in a cart.
Everything was great until another security guy came up to me
and informed me that kids weren't allowed to see Mr. Bush.
I was told I could hand them off to someone as I went through the line,
but that was my only option.
I was sad to go, but at least I tried. :)
Maybe some day down the road I'll meet him.
Who knows?
George Bush

Making our way to "The Line"

So many people!

California Trip Day 4

The last day of our trip we went to La Jolla Shores Beach/Kellogg Park.
May I just say that I love the beach.
The weather was perfect.
The water was a little cold...but hey, I'm not complaining.
We saw a ton of fish, a seal, and a dolphin!
We lost Brody for about 5 minutes.
While I was out playing on the boogie board and Aaron was feeding the girls,
Brody sprinted to the playground.
That was the most excitement of the trip
The beach was by far my favorite activity.
