Shane and Svetlana welcomed Sasha into the world last night shortly after 11:00 pm. I got to meet her this morning, and she's beautiful. She's got tons of dark hair, and the cutest dimples you've ever seen. It was fun visiting with Shane and Svet. What proud parents they are! It's hard to believe that my little brother is a daddy. -But already he's a pro. Congratulations you two!

My Little Sluffer
Today I let Brody stay home from school. He fell asleep yesterday evening around 6:00 pm and didn't wake up until 9:00 pm. When he did wake up, he was wired. Aaron and I tried to help him go back to sleep, but he was awake the entire night. A lot of children with Autism have a difficult time sleeping. This isn't the first time that Brody's had an energy nap and decided to not go back to sleep. Any way, I'm glad I kept him home. I don't get to spend very much time with him now that I've gone back to work. It's been fun having him home. I sure love him!
My Little Animal Friends
Every time I travel away from home, I see my little animal friends. These guys are always grazing in the field along Redwood Rd. I love seeing them. It reminds me of when I was a child, and I'd go for rides in the car with my family. My dad would always point out deer, pheasants, antelope, etc. to me and my siblings. It makes me appreciate where I live. I love Utah.
The Brady Bunch
Lots of Changes
Alyssa has been changing so much lately. I think I mentioned in an earlier post that she's rolling all over the place. She isn't crawling yet, but she scoots on her tummy forward and backward. She can sit up alone for about 5 seconds. She's getting good at imitating sounds. She has a little grunt sound she makes every time she wants your attention. -So cute. I love my kids so much!

Transportation
Last week I tought my daughter's preschool class. The theme this month is "Transportation." We talked about trains, planes, buses, boats, cars, etc. On Tuesday we made candy airplanes out of starbursts, tootsie rolls, lifesavors, and rubberbands. They turned out really cute, and the kids loved them.
